Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is important to me. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website or contact me, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data on this website is:

Marina Zorina
Artist, children's book illustrator and art teacher
4040 Linz, Austria

Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

2. Hosting and Server Log Files

When you access this website, the web server processes information that is technically necessary for providing the website. This may include, in particular, your IP address, the date and time of access, pages or files accessed, browser type, operating system and referrer information.

This processing is carried out in order to provide the website technically, ensure its security and stability, and detect potentially abusive access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.

The website is hosted by Iron Hosting Centre Ltd. Where the hosting provider processes personal data on my behalf, this processing is carried out under a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Server log files are retained in accordance with the hosting provider's settings only for as long as necessary for the secure operation of the website.

3. Contact by Email

If you contact me by email, I process the information you provide, in particular your email address, your name and the content of your message, in order to respond to your enquiry.

If your enquiry relates to a possible commission, an art course or another service, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of taking steps prior to entering into a contract. In other cases, processing is based on my legitimate interest in responding to incoming enquiries pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Enquiries that do not result in a contractual relationship are generally deleted once they are no longer required for processing the enquiry and any reasonable follow-up communication. As a guideline, such enquiries are not retained for longer than six months unless legal obligations or other legitimate reasons require a longer retention period.

4. Enquiry Form for Art Courses and Workshops

This website allows you to use a form to request information about art courses, individual drawing lessons and creative workshops.

The following information may be processed in particular:

  • name of the person making the enquiry,
  • email address,
  • age of the child,
  • interest in a particular type of course,
  • voluntary information entered in the message field.

The information is used exclusively for processing your enquiry and contacting you.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is made in preparation for entering into a contract for a course or workshop. Where this does not apply, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The form is operated using the Joomla extension Convert Forms. Form submissions are processed within the content management system and may be stored there. In addition, an email containing the information from your enquiry is sent to me.

Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the message field and, unless necessary for your enquiry, please do not provide any additional personal information relating to the child.

Enquiries that do not result in a contract are generally deleted once the communication has been concluded and no later than approximately six months afterwards, unless legal obligations or legitimate reasons require a longer retention period. If a contractual relationship is established, data required for that relationship may be retained for longer where statutory retention obligations apply.
